David Beckham in the Super Bowl commercial for Stella Artois

There is an incredible hype on all Super Bowl commercials this year.

They are incredible expensive. Fox charges for a 30-second commercial a mere $ 8 million. With production costs the airing of one (!) Super Bowl ad will sum up to $ 20 million.

Which commercials will be the best?

David Beckham and Stella Artois are Number 1

In the eyes of most ad-experts the ad of the beer company Stella Artois will be the best of the more than 100 commercials airing during or around the Super Bowl.

The Stella Artois commercial features David Beckham and Matt Damon playing estranged twins – each of them reportedly got more than $ 5 million for their appearance.

Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan reunite for Hellmann

A lot of attention will go to the ad of Hellmann’s mayonnaise which will reunite Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan to re-create the famous deli scene in “When Harry Meets Sally”

Other interesting Commercials will be:

  • The return of Nike to the Super Bowl
  • The first commercial for Open AI
  • Taco Bell with the appearance of Doja Cat
  • A lot of Uber Eats commercials – one with Cher

Best Super Bowl commercials 2025

1. Stella Artois: David & Dave

https://youtube.com/watch?v=GAoeGC-eL4I%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Couple good chuckles, and then a real laugh out loud at, “That’s a shame.”

2. Mountain Dew: Kiss From a Lime

https://youtube.com/watch?v=8QPLoTLAdh8%3Fsi%3DEyU3yWnjv_cZkM1V

Seal as a seal. Kiss from a lime song bringing back memories of Batman Forever (as terrible as it was). This was pretty memorable and good.

3. Pringles: The Call of The Mustaches
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0x-nGdi_3_o?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Nick Offerman for the win, please never shave Andy Reid, and Batman theme as “mustache.”

4. Reeses: Don’t Eat Lava
https://www.youtube.com/embed/tU_vZpbnYF4?si=jq2POxqyGaShSnhG

Grandma trying to drive her scooter into the lava. This one was a win.

5. GoDaddy: Act Like You Know

https://youtube.com/watch?v=CHbOUpiHiwc%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

My favorite version of Walton Goggins is from Justified, then Fallout, but yes, the eighth-grade-level “Uranus” joke got me.

6. Coors Light: Slow Monday
https://www.youtube.com/embed/QTj2BH0qJjU?autoplay=0&start=0&null

I’ve held a sloth, and this was as enjoyable! Plenty of laughs, although they missed on the chance to do a sloth laughing callback from Zootopia.

7. Hellmann’s: When Sally Met Hellmann’s

https://www.youtube.com/embed/UX9qfSEKyuc?autoplay=0&start=0&null

All the callbacks, all the awkwardness of people wondering what you changed the channel to on the TV.

8. Totino’s Pizza Rolls: Chazmo Goes Home

https://youtube.com/watch?v=Zp04IqCZ_n4%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Shout out to the parents, who the alien never cares about!

9. Michelob ULTRA: The ULTRA Hustle

https://youtube.com/watch?v=eAJW_-i4-kc%3Fsi%3DlOA9HR56EO6n7UKm

Something about Willem Dafoe in a comedy spot will always get my vote. Randy Moss extra bonus points!

10. SToK Cold Brew Coffee: Hollywood Magic

https://youtube.com/watch?v=XuS0UYPviFY%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

I’m sure plenty of women — like the ones at my Super Bowl party — enjoyed this more than I did, but I still laughed at the player trying not to break, and the ending.

JUST Missed the Top 10

Uber Eats: Turn Back Time

https://youtube.com/watch?v=J07vqCu8uWc%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

I laughed — audibly — and a good amount at, “She both young and old… at the same time.” Nothing has been truer in describing Cher.

Coors Light: Case of the Mondays

https://youtube.com/watch?v=KXmw1hxDLzo%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

I chuckled, but I also spent more time trying to figure out if I knew who he was, or seen anything he was in, than laughing at Timothy Simons.

Bud Light: Big Men On Cul-de-sac
https://www.youtube.com/embed/x7qbswwBCDo?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Doritos. Bud Light. What’s left for Post Malone? Fun-ish commercial, I guess.

Doritos: Charades
https://www.youtube.com/embed/aOMkWUfHACE?si=Aa4uSfkeNA0rcHsV

Chuckled… and thought he felt like a Jack Black knock-off.

Squarespace: Barry and Mosley
https://www.youtube.com/embed/xoba3MabuCM?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Maybe this doesn’t work for everyone, but something about it amused me.

Assorted Fun Miscellany

Dunkin Donuts: Bean Method

https://youtube.com/watch?v=llpIRuVXm0s%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

The DunKings was great … but we’ve jumped the shark.

Doritos: The Barbershop

https://youtube.com/watch?v=vQXN87X96QY%3Fsi%3DWLtQR729JzhReBP0

Equal parts haha and gross!

Meta: Who Eats Art?

https://youtube.com/watch?v=-cqwXxUo_q8%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

The Chris-es. Thor and Star-Lord. Eh, it’s fine.

WeatherTech: Whatever Comes Your Way

https://youtube.com/watch?v=J6d2QRiLw6c%3Fsi%3DbdiMreO51V74qdA_

Simple concept — even been done — but it gets points for holding my (and most everyone’s) interest throughout, and it might be the first WeatherTech commercial that’s memorable.

NERDS: What a Wonderful World

https://youtube.com/watch?v=nwcZ2dxPUo0%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Seeing as how I found the best candy … EVER … back in 2020 and have been trying to spread the word since, Gummy Clusters will always have a special place in my heart.

Uber Eats: A Century of Cravings

https://youtube.com/watch?v=YYb6erM8z8w%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Overall, some fun spots like Kevin Bacon, but the Peyton Manning, “Omaha, steaks,” was the best part … though not enough to crack the Top 10.

Uber Eats: Matthew McConaughey becomes Mike Ditka
https://www.youtube.com/embed/GpzoIpnwzqQ?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Matthew McConaughey overexposure anyone?

Booking.com: Get Your Stay Ridiculously Right
https://www.youtube.com/embed/laBjQ9uJDg8?si=bSSn03d9NAZLcisn

Should have had Mack Hollins in this. Missed opportunity.

Instacart: We’re Here
https://www.youtube.com/embed/nVUPazjaHl8?autoplay=0&start=0&null

This was made for ’90s and 2000s kids, right? That’s why most of us chuckled a bit.

Inspirational/Feel Good/Warm and Fuzzy

Budweiser: First Delivery

https://youtube.com/watch?v=K0iKgJXy_gk%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Budweiser drops one of the “horse with feels” every year, but I think they missed a big chance to include the frogs — “Bud. Weis. Er!” — when the keg dropped in the stream.

LAY’S: The Little Farmer

https://youtube.com/watch?v=gmzklpZFNiE%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

A feel-good commercial, I guess, but who wants to tell her that one potato wouldn’t even fill a snack-sized bag? They would have never noticed.

Mehsville (Worst)

OIKOS: Surprising Strength

https://youtube.com/watch?v=l-LCyj_-hRU%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

The fake AI-produced videos on Instagram look more real than this nonsense.

NerdWallet: Genius Beluga

https://youtube.com/watch?v=HVPlceIhZC0%3Fsi%3DnSEuVlyLo-IVcYKo

Here’s how you know an ad didn’t work: I was so focused on the whale and whether I was supposed to laugh (waiting for real jokes) that I missed the point of this commercial.

HexClad: Unidentified Frying Object

https://youtube.com/watch?v=2cK-v7sSiUI%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Even Pete Davidson couldn’t save this one or bring a real laugh.

Texas Pete: The Tale of Texas Pete

https://youtube.com/watch?v=O77p1mH5Jdg%3Fsi%3DUTA0Yl9irthK-6n_

Hot sauce theme song. Whatever.

DoorDash: Wine Pairing
https://www.youtube.com/embed/uAdvO0LScwg?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Did nothing for me other than make me remember True Lies and that we never got a sequel.

Best Buy: Detail Matters
https://www.youtube.com/embed/PkPPZKuUIDY?si=CwKIO9GXwHriwD01

Are they mocking NFL fans? Mocking TV tech-heads? I don’t know.

Haagen-Daez: Not So Fast, Not So Furious
https://www.youtube.com/embed/TTppVzG8gpU?autoplay=0&start=0&null

Meh. I’m only here for The Rock kicking Vin Diesel’s teeth in at this point.

Angel Soft: FOX
https://www.youtube.com/embed/i3VDM2nZf1g?si=Sa8FfosKT27nBL4e

Toilet paper on your shoe is as funny as this commercial … it isn’t.

Uber Eats: When You’ve Done Enough

https://youtube.com/watch?v=MdLYoCa0s-Q%3Fautoplay%3D0%26start%3D0%26null

Soooooo much effort for so little enjoyment … laughs … anything.

Uber Eats: Charli XCX Explains Football
https://www.youtube.com/embed/x9mmZ989Bd4?si=x31EaBcUrxcBoGLf

I’m sure there is a target group for this, but I’m not it.

Uber Eats: We Listen & We Don’t Judge
https://www.youtube.com/embed/9jJckmvAp70?autoplay=0&start=0&null

The more you say, “We Don’t Judge,” doesn’t make it any funnier.
