A tragic shooting incident occurred at a cosmetics warehouse in New Albany, Ohio, leaving one individual deceased and five others injured. Authorities are actively continuing their search for a male suspect in connection with this event that unfolded on Tuesday night.
According to Josh Poland, a representative for the city, all the victims were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The incident took place around 11 p.m., and New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones characterized it as a “targeted type of attack.” He reassured the public that there is no broader threat posed by the suspect at large.
During a press briefing, Chief Jones mentioned that they have identified a person of interest and are working to locate and detain them. Officers recovered a firearm at the crime scene, which may provide crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.

At this time, law enforcement has not disclosed the motive behind the shooting or the conditions of the injured individuals.
