Today’s Grammy-Sunday will become a huge Beyonce-show.

The singer is not only the biggest favorite for tonights award show with 11 Grammy-  nominations – a new record !

Beyonce also chooses the Grammy-day for the announcement of her new, long awaited Cowboy Carter-tour. And the internet and Social Media are abuzz over Beyonce’s tour plans.

Those who have been patiently awaiting news of a Cowboy Carter tour just got their first confirmation that Beyoncé will in fact be heading out on the road this year to support her eighth album.

On Saturday night, news trickled out that the tour was coming. Netflix was first to signal that an announcement was in the works, tweeting “Look at that horse” and linking to her “Beyoncé Bowl” performance. Fans were quick to note that “Cowboy Carter Tour” had been added as a title card at the end of the special.

Soon, Beyoncé herself took to her socials to confirm suspicions. “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025,” she wrote on her social accounts and official website, along with a new photo.

Fans expected the Cowboy Carter tour announcement much sooner, as Beyoncé was leading up to a special announcement on Jan. 14 that she postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires. Some online fans claimed that despite the announcement cancelation, they received notifications that Beyoncé would be performing in their city

“The Jan. 14 announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,” she wrote in her announcement postponement. “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community. To join our efforts in supporting those impacted, please visit @BeyGOOD. Love, B.”

Beyoncé postponed the announcement hours after pledging a $2.5 million donation to fire relief efforts through her BeyGOOD Foundation. Her foundation, established in 2013, will directly provide funds to families who have lost their homes in the Altadena and Palisades fires, and will additionally help fund churches and community centers to better help the immediate needs of struggling families.

The singer is expected to appear tonight at the Grammy Awards, where she’s up for album, song and record of the year with a new record of 11 nominations.
