The buzz in Washington, D.C. was electric as Donald Trump and Melania made their highly anticipated return to the capital for the inaugural celebrations. The First Couple couldn’t stop smiling as they enjoyed a spectacular fireworks show. It was a night to remember as Trump marked his comeback to power with style.

Trump national golf club celebration

At Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia—just 30 miles from D.C.—the celebration kicked off. Many of Trump’s top allies showed up, including daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner. Also in attendance were Don Jr. and his controversial new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson. Tiffany was there with her husband, Michael Boulos, while Eric and Lara Trump rounded out the family affair.

However, it was Donald and Melania who stole the spotlight. The couple shared rare moments of affection, beaming at each other as the fireworks lit up the night sky.

Trump briefly addressed the crowd, nodding to key figures like Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. He also praised his Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, calling him “a great negotiator” for his role in securing the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal.

Musical hits and cheers for Trump

Music from Trump’s favorite artists blasted through the event, including hits like YMCA and A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World. Guests couldn’t get enough as the tunes set the perfect vibe. After the celebration, Trump’s motorcade rolled through, greeted by cheers from a group of excited fans chanting “Trump, Trump, Trump!”

Vice president-elect JD Vance and D.C. celebrities

Elsewhere in D.C., Vice President-elect JD Vance and his wife, Usha, were seen making a glamorous entrance to The Vice President’s Dinner. They shared a kiss before JD took the stage for his speech. Other VIPs included Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cheryl Hines, and Marco Rubio, all of whom attended the event at the National Gallery of Art.

But the fun didn’t stop there. The weekend promised even bigger celebrations, with rappers, billionaires, and country music stars all set to attend. Trump’s second inauguration is shaping up to be one for the history books.

The newly sworn-in president and Melania will grace three official balls. But that’s not all—parties and events will fill the weekend with excitement.

A major difference from Trump’s first inauguration? More musical acts! Country stars like Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, and Jason Aldean, along with pop legends like Billy Ray Cyrus, will perform. Hip-hop will also have its place, with Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross taking center stage at the inaugural Crypto Ball.

Tech titans and celebrity appearances

In addition to the performers, tech moguls like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos are on the guest list. TikTok CEO Shou Chew is also attending. And let’s not forget The Village People! The group, famous for YMCA, will perform multiple times throughout the weekend, including at the Capital One Arena and the Liberty Ball.

The Village People’s performance is a big draw, with only one original member, Victor Willis, remaining in the group. The band now includes a mix of new members who are ready to keep the crowd dancing.

Hollywood comes to D.C.

Hollywood stars are also flocking to D.C. The Creative Coalition will hold a Friday night dinner benefiting military groups. Celebrities like Tim Daly, Steven Weber, Dean Norris, and Richard Kind are among the attendees. Meanwhile, Mel Gibson and Dennis Quaid’s attendance remains uncertain, though Quaid is known for his support of Trump.

State societies and conservative groups are throwing their own galas, with notable events like the Legacy of Freedom Ball. Rapper Waka Flocka Flame and former NFL star Antonio Brown are expected to perform. Waka Flocka Flame has been a vocal Trump supporter, making his appearance all the more exciting.
