NYC ranked the best party city in the country!

The city that never sleeps has claimed the top spot! New York City has officially been named the No. 1 party destination in the US, beating out iconic hotspots like Las Vegas and Miami.

A new study by Mattress Next Day revealed NYC’s unrivaled nightlife scene. The analysis considered Google search trends, the number of events and clubs, public transit costs, safety ratings, and luxury accommodations. Gotham stole the show with a jaw-dropping 610 nighttime events – nearly double that of its closest competitor.

New York’s vibrant nightlife and its high-end hotels make it a party-lover’s paradise,” researchers explained. More than half of NYC’s hotels boast four-star ratings or higher, offering guests the perfect retreat after long nights of revelry.

Underground thrills and celeb hangouts

NYC’s party scene thrives on creativity and uniqueness. The city is home to underground gems like Time Again, a buzzing hotspot tucked away in a Chinatown parking lot. On top of that, trendy boozy craft classes and star-studded eateries, like the celeb-favorite Corner Store, keep the energy alive.

TripAdvisor also named NYC the No. 1 travel destination in the US this year. No wonder it’s a mecca for night owls!

Vegas: a close second

Las Vegas may be “Sin City,” but it couldn’t dethrone New York. The famous Las Vegas Strip, with its glittering casinos and high-end restaurants, still draws massive crowds. The city leads in Google search interest, with over 100,000 searches for nightlife events every month.

Despite its flash and glamour, Vegas landed in second place.

Boston and Austin follow

Boston snagged third place, thanks to its luxury restaurants and hotels. Meanwhile, Austin ranked fourth for being a budget-friendly party town. Cheap transportation and a reputation for safety make it a go-to for travelers looking for fun without breaking the bank.

San Diego: west coast cool

San Diego closed out the top five. Known for its sunny beaches and laid-back vibe, this Southern California city is the second safest on the list. It averages 70 nighttime events monthly and 9,000 Google searches for parties. Visitors love soaking up the sun before hitting the clubs.

Miami’s surprising snub

Shockingly, Miami didn’t even make the cut. Known for its wild South Beach scene, the city was noticeably absent from the rankings.

Europe’s top party capitals

Across the pond, the party scene is just as fierce. Ibiza, Prague, Belgrade, Madrid, and Budapest ranked as Europe’s ultimate nightlife destinations. These cities set the bar for international partygoers.
