Kid Rock and Jason Aldean set to take the stage for Trump’s Inauguration weekend festivities

A lineup of prominent artists, including Kid Rock and country music star Jason Aldean, is set to grace Washington, D.C. this weekend for multiple presidential inauguration celebrations. The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee disclosed the majority of the performers on Wednesday.

Kid Rock, a long-time supporter of Trump, along with Billy Ray Cyrus, will share the stage with Lee Greenwood and The Village People during the Make America Great Again Rally at Capital One Arena this Sunday. A choir from Liberty University is also scheduled to perform at the event.

Greenwood expressed his enthusiasm about the occasion, stating, “The pageantry is wonderful. I’m excited about all of that. I’m thrilled to sing once more for the President of the United States and particularly for my friend Donald J. Trump.”

Jason Aldean, who has received five Grammy nominations, will take the stage at The Liberty Ball on Monday night. He will perform alongside The Village People and an unexpected musical guest. His song, “Try That in a Small Town,” has sparked considerable conversation recently.

The swearing-in ceremony planned for Monday will feature various artists, including Carrie Underwood, who will sing “America the Beautiful,” as well as opera tenor Christopher Maccio performing the National Anthem and Greenwood making another appearance. Three inaugural balls are also lined up.

Underwood shared her gratitude, stating, “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.”

At the Commander-in-Chief Ball, which is dedicated to military members, the well-known country band Rascal Flatts will entertain guests, bringing along Texas singer-songwriter Parker McCollum. Rascal Flatts’ lead singer, Gary LeVox, expressed his emotion over the opportunity in an Instagram post, saying he felt “happy and humbled and grateful.” He previously performed at Trump’s first inauguration and assured attendees it would be a “night to remember,” giving thanks to South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.

The Starlight Ball, catering to high-profile donors, will feature a performance from Gavin DeGraw, famous for his hit “I Don’t Want to Be,” which served as the theme for the CW show “One Tree Hill.”

During Trump’s first inauguration in 2017, the event was marked by performances from the Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and 16-year-old Jackie Evancho from “America’s Got Talent.”
