The 2024 NFL playoffs are here, and the No. 1 seeds in each conference — the Chiefs in the AFC and the Lions in the NFC — will receive free first-rounds.
The Detroit Lions won the NFC Number 1 when they destroyed the favored Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night with an impressive 31 – 9 win on Sunday night.
The remaining 12 teams will have to play in next weekend’s three-day wild-card round. Two games will be played Saturday; three are slated for Sunday; and the action will culminate in a Monday night contest that will be broadcast by ESPN/ABC.
Which teams are ready for deep playoff runs? Which ones have concerns that might impact their wild-card weekend matchups? And which players could play big parts in their teams getting to the Super Bowl?
In the AFC the Bills will play the Broncos, the Ravens will have to play the Steelers and the Houston Texans will have to travel to LA SoFi Stadium to play the Chargers.
In the NFC the wild card round will bring the showdown between the Eagles and the Packers, the Buccaneers and the Commanders and finally the Rams at the Minnesota Vikings
