A woman who accused Jay-Z and Diddy of rape in a lawsuit is standing by her allegations despite acknowledging inconsistencies in her recollection of the 2000 incident. The woman, identified as Jane Doe, told NBC News that she made “some mistakes” while recalling the “catastrophic event” but maintains the core of her accusation remains true.

The lawsuit, filed in December, alleges that Doe was sexually assaulted at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. However, details provided by Doe have been challenged, including claims about her father’s involvement and a conversation with musician Benji Madden.

Both Jay-Z and Diddy have vehemently denied the allegations, with Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, calling the lawsuit “frivolous” and accusing Doe’s attorney of pursuing “money and fame.” Spiro pointed to inconsistencies in Doe’s account, including the alleged location of the assault and the presence of the two rappers.

Despite the backlash, Doe remains steadfast in her allegations. She emphasized the importance of speaking out and encouraged others to come forward, regardless of potential challenges.
