The NBA Cup semifinals start on Saturday in Las Vegas with four surprise teams.
There will be none of the Cup-favorites in Las Vegas – neither the Nuggets nor the Suns, the Mavericks, the Lakers, the Knicks or the Warriors. Instead there are four teams without any stars and big pay players going for the NBA Cup.
The Houston Rockets won against the Warriors in a last minute thriller thanks to two last-minute-free throws by an impressing Jalen Green with 91 – 90.
The Hawks beat the Knicks with 22 points from a strong Trae Young with 108 – 100 and continued their surprising run for the NBA Cup.
The Bucks beat the Magic 114 – 109 with 37 points by a sensational Giannis Antetokounmpo.
And the Oklahoma City Thunder made a big win against the Dallas Mavericks with Shai Gilgeous Alexander as the new superstar of this years NBA Cup
The Bucks (against the Hawks) and the Thunder (against the Rockets) are now the favorites for the NBA Cup final. But the star-less underdog teams of Atlanta and Houston have the momentum and are good for any surprise on Saturday.
