With her record-breaking Eras Tour behind her, Taylor Swift is gearing up for some much-needed relaxation as the holidays approach.
The superstar, who turns 34 this week, is “exhausted but so, so grateful,” a source exclusively tells PEOPLE, following the tour’s final stop in Vancouver on December 8.
An Emotional Farewell
“She had so many emotions about the last few shows in Vancouver,” the insider says of Swift, who reflected on the tour’s journey during her set. “It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she told the crowd, as she played for over 10 million fans across 152 shows since March 2023.
Swift concluded her tour with heartfelt gratitude: “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.”
Holiday Plans with Kelce
Fresh off their first Thanksgiving together, Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce are looking forward to spending the holidays together, the source adds. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, whose team faces the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, celebrated Thanksgiving with Swift’s family in Nashville, alongside his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie.
The couple has been inseparable, with Swift cheering on Kelce at Chiefs games while balancing her whirlwind schedule.
A Legacy of Giving
Swift’s nearly two-year tour wasn’t just about breaking records. She made headlines for distributing $197 million in bonuses to her tour crew, including drivers, techs, dancers, security, and more. Additionally, she donated to food banks in every city on the tour, reinforcing her reputation as a generous and conscientious artist.
The Eras Tour generated over $2 billion in ticket sales, doubling the gross of any previous concert tour in history. It also sparked a wave of fan enthusiasm, including the release of the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, which sold 814,000 copies in its first two days, making it the year’s biggest publishing launch.
Topping the Charts and Eyeing the Grammys
As the year ends, Swift remains the most-streamed artist on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. She also heads into the 2025 Grammy Awards with six nominations, including Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department.
For now, though, Swift is ready to unwind and enjoy the holidays with her loved ones before stepping into what promises to be another monumental year.
