Taylor Swift is ready for some well-earned rest after wrapping up her nearly two-year Eras Tour next weekend.
The global superstar, who has performed over 150 shows since March 2023, will take her final bow on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
A Cozy Retreat with Travis Kelce
After her final performance, Swift reportedly plans to spend most of her time in Kansas City with her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. The couple began dating last summer amidst Swift’s hectic touring schedule.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the source shared, adding that the pair wants to enjoy “normal things” as a couple.
“They’re eager to spend quality time together because that’s when you really learn the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits,” another insider explained. “They’ll learn so much about each other.”
The couple will also split time at Swift’s New York home once Kelce’s football season concludes, according to sources.
Balancing Rest and Future Plans
While the “All Too Well” singer is looking forward to a break, she’s already brainstorming ideas for her next album and potential tour. However, her plans may hinge on how her relationship with Kelce develops over the next year.
“She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life,” a source said, hinting at Swift’s commitment to balancing her career and relationship.
Engagement and Future Goals
Although Swift and Kelce are reportedly not in a rush, both are said to be open to engagement. “Taylor feels like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the insider noted. “Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
As for starting a family, that’s reportedly still years away for the career-driven couple.
Celebrating Milestones in NYC
Swift plans to celebrate her 35th birthday on Dec. 13 and the end of her tour in New York City, where she hosted her birthday party last year.
For now, the Grammy-winning icon is ready to embrace a slower pace, spending quality time with Kelce and reflecting on the monumental success of her Eras Tour.
