Taylor Swift leans on Travis Kelce as emotional Eras Tour nears its end

Taylor Swift has been “super emotional” as she approaches the final nights of her record-breaking Eras Tour, leaning heavily on her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, “more than ever.”

The pop icon, 34, will conclude her two-year, 149-show journey on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada.

Struggling with the Tour’s End

With just three shows remaining, Swift is finding it difficult to come to terms with the end of her tour, writes the Daily Mail. According to a source who spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com, the singer is uncertain about how she will fill her days once the tour concludes.

“This tour has been her life, and the people on it have been her family,” the insider shared. “As it draws to a close, she has been super emotional—leaning on Travis and her own family more than ever.”

The source added that Swift, who has always been a “busybody,” is grappling with how to enjoy her successes without feeling idle. “She knows she must take some time to relax, but she doesn’t know what to do aside from writing songs.”

A Perfect Time to Start a Family?

Swift’s friends reportedly see the end of the tour as an ideal moment for her to take the next step with Kelce, 35, and start a family.

“Her friends believe she should use this time to take things to the next level with Travis,” the source said. “Taylor hasn’t talked about becoming a mom recently, but she’s expressed wanting a family in the past. Everyone who knows her believes she would make an incredible mom.”

An Emotional Night in Toronto

The emotional toll of wrapping up her $1 billion tour was evident on Saturday night during a performance at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. Swift broke down in tears after receiving a standing ovation for her rendition of Champagne Problems.

“Toronto, we’re at the very end of this tour,” she said, pausing to compose herself. “You have no idea how much this means to me… This tour has been our lives, and you’ve given us moments we will never forget.”

Kelce’s father, Ed, and Swift’s mother, Andrea, were spotted in the VIP section during the show, further highlighting the couple’s growing closeness. Swift’s father, Scott, recently shared his approval of Kelce in a conversation with a fellow passenger on a flight.

Plans Beyond the Tour

Despite the emotions, Swift is not expected to take an extended break after the tour. According to sources, she is already working on new music for a 2025 release and planning another tour for 2026.

“She has been quietly writing songs backstage during the Eras Tour,” an insider revealed. “Her experiences on this tour have heavily inspired her, and she’s excited to share her new music.”

Since the Eras Tour began in March 2023, Swift has released three albums, including re-recordings of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version), as well as a new two-CD set, The Tortured Poets Department. Rumors are swirling that her next project will be Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

A Future with Travis Kelce

Swift’s relationship with Kelce has captivated fans, who are eager to know if an engagement or family plans are on the horizon. The couple’s parents have already met, and Kelce has been a regular fixture at her concerts.

In a previous interview, Swift revealed her dream of having a large family. “I want a bunch of kids running around—minimum four,” she told Marie Claire. “The idea of pouring everything you are into another person when you become a parent has always been amazing to me.”

As the Eras Tour comes to a close, it marks not just the end of a monumental chapter in Swift’s career but potentially the beginning of a new one with Kelce by her side.
