An explosion occurred at a residence in Bethel, Ohio, on Tuesday morning, leading to the tragic deaths of two individuals and injuring another. The incident, which transpired shortly before 9 a.m., caused significant chaos, scattering debris across the neighborhood and igniting a fire at the scene, as reported by local authorities.
Residents nearby recounted the powerful blast, stating that it vibrated through their homes and resulted in minor damages to some properties. The victims of the explosion include a man and a woman, according to Bethel Tate Fire Chief Christopher Cooper. An additional man sustained burns and was promptly transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
As of now, the identities of the deceased and the injured individual have not been disclosed, and officials have yet to determine if any of the victims were occupants of the affected home.
