Actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have announced their engagement.
They shared the news with E! News during the Ebony Power 100 Gala held in Los Angeles on Sunday, with Good proudly displaying her engagement ring in a photograph provided to the media.
Majors, who is 35 years old, and Good, aged 43, first crossed paths in 2022 and began their romantic relationship the following year.
Good has consistently shown her support for Majors, particularly during his trial in New York, where he was convicted in December of misdemeanor assault involving his former girlfriend.
As a result of the conviction, Majors received a sentence requiring him to undergo one year of counseling but was able to avoid incarceration due to his clean prior record.
While Majors and his legal team have asserted his innocence, he faced professional repercussions as Marvel removed him from upcoming projects.
He was set to portray the character Kang the Conqueror, a key figure in the next phase of Marvel films.
Previously, he starred in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and had roles in the first two seasons of the Disney+ series “Loki.”
Majors also features in the upcoming film “Magazine Dreams,” where he has earned praise for his portrayal of an aspiring bodybuilder.
Although the film’s original distributor withdrew from the project last year, it was recently acquired by a new distributor and is slated to premiere in early 2025.
Meagan Good is celebrated for her performances in films such as “Eve’s Bayou,” “Deliver Us From Eva,” and “Roll Bounce,” in addition to her role in the Nickelodeon sitcom “Cousin Skeeter.”
