Two individuals were hospitalized following an incident involving a small aircraft that collided with an unoccupied plane at an airport in eastern Pennsylvania, as reported by local authorities.

Emergency services in Buckingham Township, located in Bucks County, received an alert about the crash shortly before 12:30 p.m. on a Monday. Reports indicated that a single-engine aircraft was taking off when it veered off the runway and collided with another aircraft that was not occupied. The plane eventually came to a stop on the airport premises.

Upon arrival, police found that all individuals had safely exited the aircraft, although multiple people were transported for medical assessment due to injuries sustained in the incident. According to Bucks County representative James O’Malley, initial findings suggest that there were three people onboard, of which two were taken to medical facilities.

Authorities from Buckingham Township remained at the site, awaiting the arrival of federal investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration to further probe into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
