With Donald Trump securing the 2024 Republican presidential ticket, it appears Ivanka Trump won’t be joining him in the political spotlight, writes the Daily Mail.

Sources close to the family reveal the former senior advisor is “not going back into politics” and has no plans to move to Washington, D.C., signaling a clear shift in her priorities.

Family Over Politics

Ivanka’s decision follows challenges she faced after the January 6th insurrection and her subsequent subpoena during the investigation into Trump’s efforts to retain power. “She felt pressured to reveal information she didn’t know and never wants to be in that position again,” a source explained. Prioritizing family life, she’s now focused on raising her children and pursuing private ventures.

Passing the Torch to Lara Trump

Ivanka is reportedly “perfectly fine handing the reins” to her sister-in-law, Lara Trump, who has taken on a more prominent role in Trump’s campaign. Lara, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, has been at Trump’s side at key rallies, a contrast to Ivanka’s absence from the campaign trail.

A Shift in the Family Dynamic

Body language expert Judi James notes a noticeable change in Ivanka’s role within the Trump family. Once positioned as Trump’s “anointed one” in 2016, Ivanka’s current stage placement during Trump’s victory speech—standing apart from her father next to Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha—reflects a shift. “You have to look to find Ivanka now,” James said, adding that the focus seems to have moved to Melania and even Barron, who stood prominently by Trump’s side.

A More Private Life

In contrast to her previous campaign appearances, Ivanka is embracing a quieter life, sharing reflections on social media. Ahead of the election, she posted about life lessons, emphasizing that “family and friends are everything” and urging her followers to forgive and find meaning in each experience.

Ivanka’s decision to step back may signal the end of her political involvement, focusing instead on family and personal growth.
