Nevada’s Democratic Representative Dina Titus successfully retains her position in the House of Representatives.

LAS VEGAS — In the recent electoral results, at least one of Nevada’s three U.S. House seats will continue to be held by Democrats, following the victory of incumbent Rep. Dina Titus in her race.

The announcement of Titus as the winner came on Thursday, according to reports. Meanwhile, the outcomes for the other two seats, contested by Reps. Susie Lee and Steven Horsford, had yet to be determined and remained too close to call. In contrast, Nevada’s sole Republican Congressman, Mark Amodei, had a successful run on Tuesday night, securing his position.

This victory marks the second consecutive election where Titus has outperformed her opponent, Republican Mark Robertson, a retired Army colonel, thereby retaining her seat in the Las Vegas district that she has represented for over ten years.

The recent redistricting that included more Republican-leaning suburban areas has transformed the district into a prime target for GOP candidates, yet Titus has successfully defended her position against these challenges.
