50 Million Americans have already voted early, as Republicans dominate in some states

With six days until Election Day, over 50 million Americans have already voted by mail or in person, setting a strong early voting pace in the close race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

The big surprise so far has been the high Republican voter turnout, after Trump encouraged his supporters to take part in early voting. In key swing states like Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada, and Georgia, more Republicans have voted so far than Democrats.

Republicans Narrow Early Voting Gap

In Pennsylvania, Democrats lead in turnout, but even there, Republican participation has seen a significant increase compared to 2020.

On Monday, President Joe Biden joined the millions of early voters, casting his ballot alongside an enthusiastic crowd in Delaware, including a voter sporting a MAGA hat with a bold slogan.

Biden, accompanied by Secret Service, greeted other voters warmly and presented his ID to staff without prompt.
