Expect the worst tonight with Los Angeles traffic when the Dodgers have their first World Series game against the Yankees. LA mayor Karen Bass: „The traffic will be a nightmare today starting at 3 pm!“
Not only the Dodgers have their game with more than 30.000 visitors, at there same evening USC is playing college football with 80.000 attendance, the LA East Coast classic will take place at SoFi-Stadium with up to 70.000 fans and the Lakers will play in Cryptocom-arena with 20.000 fans. There will also be two concerts with David Gilmour and ELO, numerous Halloween parties and hundreds of Dodgers-vikewing parties.
All in all the city expects that more than 1 million (!) fans will be on the road between 1 pm and midnight. Especially Highway 10 and 405 will be in gridlock.
odgersOn top of the traffic jam there will also be tightened security today. Mayor Karen Bass: „We never had so many police officers and security on duty as today!“ Especially fans at the Dodgers stadium are asked to show up at least two hours in advance to make it to the game in time.
