WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden has expressed significant concern regarding the release of sensitive documents detailing Israel’s strategic preparations for a potential counterattack against Iran, as reported by a spokesperson from the White House.
On Saturday, U.S. officials noted that the administration is looking into the unauthorized dissemination of classified materials that evaluate Israel’s military intentions towards Iran.
During a press briefing on Monday, John Kirby, the White House’s national security spokesperson, indicated that it is still unclear whether the classified information was revealed through a leak or a cyber breach.
Kirby further commented that current administration officials have not found evidence to suggest that more documents of this nature are likely to surface publicly in the near future.
