Tito Jackson, a member of the famous Jackson 5 music group, has passed away at 70 years old. He was part of the large Jackson family, which included iconic musicians like Michael and Janet Jackson. Tito was remembered by his sons, TJ, Taj, and Taryll, as a caring and incredible man in a statement shared on Instagram.

The Jackson 5, which consisted of brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, achieved great success in the 1970s with hit songs like “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.” Tito, born on Oct. 15, 1953, played a crucial role in the group as a background singer and guitarist while his brothers pursued solo careers. The passing of Michael Jackson in 2009 brought the family closer together according to Tito, who shared his sentiments with the Associated Press.

In 2014, Jackson expressed the ongoing impact of Michael’s absence on their performances, noting that they still deeply missed him but felt his spirit with them on stage. Days before Tito’s death, he posted on Facebook from Munich, Germany, where he and his brothers visited a memorial dedicated to Michael, expressing gratitude for the special place that honored their brother’s memory.

Tito released his solo album “Tito Time” in 2016, after holding back on pursuing a solo career to focus on raising his three sons, TJ, Taj, and Taryll, who formed the music group 3T. His dedication to family and music is evident in his work, with a single featuring 3T and Stevie Wonder titled “Love One Another.” Tito Jackson’s contributions to music and his family will be remembered by fans and loved ones alike.
