Official UK royal social media platforms extend birthday greetings to Prince Harry

Britain’s royal family took to social media to extend birthday wishes to Prince Harry on his 40th birthday despite recent tensions following the release of his memoir titled “Spare.” The official Royal Family account posted a celebratory message along with a photo of the Duke of Sussex and a birthday cake emoji, congratulating him on reaching the milestone age. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also conveyed their birthday greetings in a separate post.
This public birthday message is the first formal acknowledgment from the royal family since the prior year. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step back from their royal responsibilities in January 2020, relocating to the United States with aspirations of financial independence and securing major deals with Netflix and Spotify.
In his memoir “Spare,” which was written with the help of a ghostwriter, Prince Harry delves into personal struggles such as his grief over the death of Princess Diana, conflicts with Prince William, and his discomfort with living in the shadow of his older brother.
