He was briefly held for mental health services, during which he threatened to harm either himself or his mother. On the day of the incident, he called 911 claiming his mother had been stabbed during a fight at his grandmother’s home.
Upon the arrival of deputies, the teenager appeared calm and collected, with blood on him.
