Former football star Reggie Bush was at his Encino home when three male suspects attempted to break in, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Bush reassured the newspaper through a text message that everyone at the residence was safe. The Los Angeles Police Dept. informed the Times that a resident of the house heard a window breaking, with broken glass found outside. Despite the attempt, nothing was reported stolen, and three male suspects in black clothing were witnessed leaving the scene.
Reggie Bush, known for his success at Southern California and in the NFL, regained his status as the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner this year. He had previously forfeited the title in 2010 after USC faced sanctions related to Bush’s interactions with two aspiring sports marketers.
