Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jon Bon Jovi, along with a video production assistant, successfully convinced a woman who was on the ledge of a pedestrian bridge in Nashville to step back to safety. The incident took place on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge over the Cumberland River on Tuesday. Reports from The Tennessean mentioned that Bon Jovi was shooting a music video on the bridge, which remained accessible to the public during the filming.
A video, later taken down from YouTube, captured the assistant engaging in conversation with the woman on the ledge. Bon Jovi, a Grammy-winning musician, slowly approached, greeted the woman with a wave, and joined in the discussion. Eventually, the woman turned around to face them, and with their assistance, she safely returned over the railing. Bon Jovi took the time to speak with the woman and offered her a comforting hug.
A representative for Jon Bon Jovi stated that the singer would not be providing any comments regarding the incident.
