Israeli attacks on Palestinian territories have resulted in the deaths of over two dozen Palestinians. Local officials reported that an Israeli airstrike in the occupied West Bank killed five Palestinians, while in the Gaza Strip, at least 20 people, including 16 women and children, were killed. The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that a strike on a tent camp in a designated humanitarian zone by Israel led to the death of at least 19 individuals.

According to the Health Ministry, more than 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas war began, with no differentiation made between fighters and civilians. The conflict has caused massive destruction and forced approximately 90% of Gaza’s population, totaling 2.3 million, to be displaced multiple times.

In another incident, an American activist was shot by Israeli forces in the West Bank, prompting President Joe Biden to express outrage and sadness. The activist, Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, was fatally shot during a protest against settlements, with the Israeli military stating it was likely unintentional.

There was a tragic event where a fuel tanker crashed into a bus stop in the West Bank, causing serious injuries. Israeli officials suspect it was an intentional attack, though the details are still under investigation.

In Gaza, a polio vaccination campaign has reached over 82% of the targeted children, aiming to vaccinate around 640,000 kids following the first confirmed polio case in Gaza in 25 years.

On a separate note, an Israeli military helicopter crashed in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers. The incident, not attributed to enemy fire, occurred during a mission to evacuate wounded soldiers for medical treatment in Israeli hospitals.

Additionally, dozens of Palestinian patients are set to leave Gaza for the United Arab Emirates through an Israeli crossing for medical care. This marks a significant departure of medical patients since the onset of the conflict almost a year ago.

Another development includes Hamas’ top leader, Yahya Sinwar, releasing a statement expressing gratitude to Algeria for its support to the Palestinian cause. Sinwar, a hard-liner within Hamas, played a significant role in the events leading to the current conflict in Gaza.

Moreover, recent Israeli airstrikes in the West Bank and Gaza have resulted in the deaths of multiple individuals, including women and children. Civilian casualties have been reported, with Palestinian officials claiming a significant number of deaths and injuries due to Israeli offensive actions following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas.
