A tragic incident occurred in Joliet, Illinois, where a 2-year-old boy was fatally stabbed by his 6-year-old brother. The young child sustained multiple stab wounds from a kitchen knife inside their home on Friday afternoon and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to Joliet police.
Reportedly, the mother of the children called 911 and informed authorities that she was present in the house but in a different room at the time of the stabbing. Joliet police Sergeant Dwayne English expressed that everyone involved in the incident is considered a victim.
