On Friday, August 16, the Queen of Pop marked the occasion with a special evening featuring members of Sogno di Volare (Dream of Flying), a project that engages local youth in classical performances at Pompeii’s ancient theater. Madonna arrived at the Archaeological Park of Pompeii with a group of around 30, including her rumored boyfriend, soccer player Akeem Morris, and her 11-year-old twin daughters, Estere and Stella. They were greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic fans.
Madonna shared her birthday celebrations on Instagram with glamorous photos of herself, her twins, and a shirtless Morris, captioning the post: “Back in Italy…?? Happy Birthday to ME ????????.”
Upon arrival, Madonna and her party were treated to a performance by the Dream of Flying participants. The initiative, fully funded by Madonna’s Ray of Light Foundation through 2025, aims to integrate the local community into the cultural life of Pompeii. Director Gabriel Zuchtriegel guided the star and her group through the site, which included performances by young artists in Italian, Neapolitan, and English.
Zuchtriegel praised Madonna for her generous support, highlighting how the project is transforming lives through art and culture. He expressed deep appreciation for her contribution and the “beautiful gift” she gave on her birthday.
Earlier in the day, Madonna was seen arriving in Portofino, Italy, by boat, a location reportedly associated with Dolce & Gabbana. While Estere and Stella joined her in Pompeii, her other four children—Lourdes, Rocco, David, and Mercy—were not present for the celebrations.
