The six-time All-Star and 2022 American League MVP hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning off a pitch from Chad Kuhl, sending the ball into the White Sox bullpen in left field, marking his 43rd home run of the season.
Previously, the record for reaching 300 home runs was held by Ralph Kiner, who accomplished it in his 1,087th game, and Babe Ruth, who did so in his 3,831st at-bat. In the game against the White Sox, Chicago intentionally walked Juan Soto to face Judge, who hadn’t hit a home run on a 3-0 count since 2021.
