New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge made history by hitting his 300th career home run against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night. Judge achieved this milestone in his 955th game and 3,431st at-bat, making him the fastest player to reach 300 home runs. The six-time All-Star and 2022 American League MVP hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning off a pitch from Chad Kuhl, sending the ball into the White Sox bullpen in left field, marking his 43rd home run of the season.
Previously, the record for reaching 300 home runs was held by Ralph Kiner, who accomplished it in his 1,087th game, and Babe Ruth, who did so in his 3,831st at-bat. In the game against the White Sox, Chicago intentionally walked Juan Soto to face Judge, who hadn’t hit a home run on a 3-0 count since 2021.
This remarkable feat by Aaron Judge has solidified his position as a dominant force in Major League Baseball, adding to his impressive career statistics.
