San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey graces the cover of Madden NFL 25, and fittingly, EA Sports is emphasizing the ground game this year.
The game introduces new mechanics for ball carriers to maneuver past defenses, alongside a revamped tackling system called Boom Tech, which promises a more intense gameplay experience.
Additionally, EA is enhancing the Superstar and Franchise modes, adding richer storylines for individual players and teams. Players who’ve earned the Heisman Trophy in EA’s College Football 25 can now bring their athlete into the pros.
Madden NFL 25 launches on Friday, August 16, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
