Popular real estate mogul Ryan Serhant, famous for his involvement in
‘Million Dollar Listing New York,’ is now tackling the competitive highend real estate market in New York City through his company, SERHANT, which is the focus of the latest Netflix series ‘Owning Manhattan.’ During an interview with FOX Business, Serhant discussed
some of the extravagant demands he has encountered from his celebrity clients.

One of the most memorable requests Serhant mentioned was related to
animals. Despite the strict pet rules in the city, he has been tasked with
finding properties suitable for exotic animals such as pythons and
kangaroos. Clients have asked for lofts without doormen to accommodate a python or spacious enough homes for a kangaroo, showcasing the unique challenges he faces in fulfilling these requests.

Furthermore, Serhant shared a story about a client who wanted to
assess the strength of ceilings for installing indoor swings, highlighting
the distinctive and lavish needs of his clientele. Apart from luxury,
wealthy clients prioritize privacy and security, crucial factors for those
wanting to avoid the public eye.

SERHANT., the real estate firm led by Serhant, focuses on meeting
these demands, particularly with projects like Williamsburg Wharf in
Brooklyn. This $600 million development offers exclusive amenities
tailored to attract affluent buyers, including private garages and highfloor ice skating rinks, distinguishing it in Brooklyn’s market.

The upcoming Netflix series ‘Owning Manhattan,’ scheduled to debut on
June 28, offers a glimpse into the cutthroat world of New York City real
estate, showcasing Serhant’s firm, established in September 2020
during the pandemic. With a network of over 500 agents across seven
states, SERHANT. continues to set new standards in luxury real estate.

and individuality of his clients. He mentions that it’s more captivating
than working with lawyers or bankers, pointing out the advantages of
being present at exclusive events and concerts.

His career began in entertainment sales at prestigious hotels in NYC
before he ventured into establishing his own luxury travel agency in
2015, catering to almost 1,000 wealthy clients. He manages their global

handling unusual requests, such as personalized water bottles and

Dealing with the demands of celebrities can be challenging, but
DelliBovi curates one-of-a-kind experiences, like securing front-row
seats at sporting events and reservations at top restaurants worldwide.
