Former President Trump leads President Biden by a narrow margin of 1 point among registered voters, according to a new Fox News national poll.

The poll shows Trump with 49 percent support in a hypothetical match-up, slightly ahead of Biden’s 48 percent.

When other presidential candidates, including independents Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West, are considered, Trump’s lead over Biden increases to 3 points, with 43 percent to Biden’s 40 percent.

Polls have offered mixed signals on whether Kennedy and other third-party candidates will impact Trump or Biden more. This particular poll suggests Kennedy might draw more support from Biden.

Third-party candidates could play a significant role in swing states like Michigan, where Kennedy is on the ballot. Kennedy, who is polling the highest among third-party candidates, aims to secure ballot access nationwide.

Additionally, the Fox News poll found that 68 percent of registered voters feel “extremely” motivated to vote in the upcoming presidential election. Fifteen percent reported feeling “very” motivated, 10 percent “somewhat” motivated, and 6 percent not motivated “at all.”

The Fox News poll, conducted from May 10-13 by Beacon Research and Shaw & Company Research, surveyed 1,126 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
