Woman charged with drugging and stealing from elderly men in a fatal dating scam

A woman is accused of enticing multiple older men through online dating platforms, where she arranged in-person meetings, administered sedatives to them, and subsequently stole substantial amounts of money from her victims, according to FBI representatives in Las Vegas. This deceitful romance operation has led to a charge connected to one man’s death.

Aurora Phelps, who is currently detained in Mexico, is facing a total of 21 charges. These include wire fraud, identity theft, and a grave charge of kidnapping that resulted in a death, as confirmed by Sue Fahami, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Nevada.
