Donald Trump has made a bold Super Bowl prediction, and it’s got everyone talking! The former president gave a cryptic remark about who he thinks will take home the trophy. “There’s a certain quarterback who seems to be a pretty good winner,” Trump said during a press briefing. Many believe he’s talking about Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, who has already led the team to two Super Bowl victories. A win this year would make it three in a row!
But that’s not all. Trump will be at Super Bowl 59 as a guest of honor. He’ll be sitting with Gayle Benson, the owner of the New Orleans Saints. Benson, who took over the team after her husband’s passing in 2018, will host the former president at the Caesars Superdome for the highly anticipated game. Trump’s attendance will definitely raise security levels, especially after a recent terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.
In addition to attending the game, Trump will feature in Fox’s Super Bowl coverage. He will sit down with Fox News anchor Bret Baier for a pre-taped interview at his Mar-A-Lago estate. This is in line with past presidential traditions, though it’s worth noting that President Joe Biden skipped the pregame interviews in his last two years in office.
While Trump didn’t reveal his full support for either team, he has shown love for the Chiefs. He congratulated them after their AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills, praising the team’s coach, players, and fans. Trump even took a moment to congratulate the Bills, commending their successful season and promising future.
