Triumphant night: US Live was there as Trump’s supporters celebrated his reelection in massive Florida party

They had waited well past midnight – and then came the moment of euphoria. Cheers erupted as Republican Donald Trump’s victory in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania was declared. On the massive screens in the hall of the “Convention Center” in West Palm Beach, Florida – where Trump held an election night “watch party” for his loyal supporters – dramatic music suddenly filled the room. The graphic that Trump supporters had been hoping to see all night, even all year, appeared on the screen: “Trump Elected as the 47th U.S. President,” accompanied by a checkmark next to his photo.

Joy and Emotion Overwhelm the Room

The hall was electrified. Fans embraced, cheered, and shouted. Some tossed their “MAGA” hats (“Make America Great Again”) into the air, while others simply stood frozen, overcome with emotion. The election night drama had begun with Trump’s initial victories over his opponent Kamala Harris in states that were expected to lean his way. But as Trump’s leads grew more substantial – with a particularly strong 13-point lead in Florida – hope began to take root. “This looks good,” one attendee remarked while grabbing a cup of red wine from a concession stand.

Pulling Ahead in Key States

Trump then began to pull ahead in crucial swing states like Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. At times, in addition to “Fox News,” CNN was shown for detailed coverage – an unusual choice, given CNN’s reputation among Trump supporters, who often chant “CNN sucks!” By midnight, tension was thick in the air, despite the late hour. The New York Times had already updated its forecast, estimating Trump’s chances of victory at around 80 percent.

Victory Speech Brings Elation

When Trump finally took the stage after 2 a.m. to deliver his victory speech, the long wait had paid off. A sea of red-clad supporters hung on every word of the newly elected president as he, surrounded by his family, high-profile supporters like Elon Musk, and his campaign team, promised a “golden age for America.”

Celebrations Continue

In the end, there was even dancing, as Trump’s supporters celebrated what they hoped would be the start of a new chapter for the country.
