Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift shut down Super Bowl proposal talk

Despite widespread speculation leading up to the 2025 Super Bowl, Travis Kelce did not propose to Taylor Swift during the big game. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end kept things light when questioned about engagement rumors, while the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles dampened expectations of a celebratory post-game proposal.

For months, fans have speculated about whether Kelce would propose to Swift at the Super Bowl. Their high-profile relationship, which began in 2023, has kept them in the public eye, with Swift frequently attending Chiefs games throughout the 2023–24 NFL season.

During a February 3 press event, a reporter asked Kelce directly if he planned to propose should the Chiefs win. He first dodged the question, responding with a joke: “A Super Bowl ring? Next question.” When pressed further, he smiled and quipped, “Wouldn’t you like to know?” leaving fans guessing.

Super Bowl loss ends proposal rumors

The Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles put an end to any lingering speculation about an engagement. Fans had hoped that Kelce might use a Super Bowl victory as the perfect moment to propose, but with the team’s defeat, no such moment occurred.

Neither Kelce nor Swift has commented on the engagement rumors, leaving their future plans unknown. For now, their relationship remains a major topic of interest, but without an engagement announcement, fans will have to keep waiting for any big news.
