Top-ranked Oregon secures a place in the Big Ten conference championship game, officials announce.

EUGENE, Ore. — The top-ranked Oregon Ducks have secured their place in the upcoming Big Ten championship game.
On Tuesday, the Big Ten revealed that after thorough analysis, it was determined there are “no scenarios in which the Ducks would finish outside the top two” positions in the conference standings.
The championship matchup is scheduled to take place on December 7 at Lucas Oil Stadium located in Indianapolis.
Oregon, boasting an impressive record of 11-0 and 8-0 in conference play, has a bye week this weekend following a narrow 16-13 win against Wisconsin last Saturday.
The Ducks will wrap up their regular season with a home game against Washington on November 30.
This marks Oregon’s inaugural season in the Big Ten, having transitioned from the Pac-12 alongside USC, UCLA, and Washington due to conference realignment.
Currently, Oregon stands as one of only three undefeated teams in the nation this season.
