Three Murdered Sisters Found Zip-Tied, Bags Over Their Heads

Key Point Summary – Three Sisters who vanished

  • The sisters were found dead near a Washington campground on Monday.
  • They had plastic bags over their heads and wrists zip-tied.
  • Their father, Travis Decker, is the main suspect and is currently on the run.
  • Decker’s truck was discovered nearby with bloody handprints.
  • The girls had been missing since Friday after visiting their homeless dad.

Police Find the Bodies Near Father’s Truck

The three sisters who vanished last week turned up in a horrifying discovery near Rock Island Campground in Washington. Officers uncovered the bodies on Monday night, not far from the white GMC Sierra truck owned by their father, Travis Decker.

Each girl wore the same outfit from Friday. Plastic bags covered their heads, and zip-ties bound their wrists. Investigators linked the truck to the scene using two bloody handprints smeared across its rear door.

Girls Last Seen Visiting Their Father

Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, had last been seen while visiting their homeless father. Their mother, who holds full custody, had agreed to the visit. When she couldn’t reach them by phone, she alerted authorities immediately.

Detectives confirmed the girls likely died from asphyxiation. Forensic teams continue processing the scene. However, all signs point to a deliberate and violent act.

Suspect Vanishes After Murders

Travis Decker, 32, disappeared shortly after the girls’ visit. Police believe he killed his daughters and then fled into the surrounding wilderness. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and multiple agencies have joined the manhunt.

Witnesses say a man matching his description was seen hiking near the area. Police urge the public not to approach him under any circumstances. They consider him armed and extremely dangerous.

Disturbing Clues Around the Truck

Inside the truck, investigators found traces of blood and a set of small shoes. These discoveries confirmed their suspicions that Decker had direct involvement in the killings. A neighbor also reported seeing the vehicle parked near the embankment two days earlier.

Authorities believe Decker remained in the area for a short time before abandoning the truck. They are now using dogs and helicopters to track his movement through the forest.

Community Gathers to Mourn

Wenatchee residents gathered Tuesday night for a vigil. Parents, teachers, and classmates of the girls lit candles and left teddy bears outside their school. The loss has shaken the entire community.

Local officials described the crime as one of the worst they’ve ever seen. “No one should die this way, especially not children,” said the Chelan County Sheriff.

Friends and family of the victims say the girls were always smiling, always full of energy. The heartbreak ripples far beyond their immediate circle.

Nationwide Search for the Killer

Law enforcement across the country is now on alert. Police believe Decker may try to cross state lines. He has a history of evading authorities and has lived off the grid before.

The FBI has joined the effort, and checkpoints have been established across several counties. Meanwhile, investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.

This tragedy has left an unfilled void. The three sisters who vanished became the victims of a chilling and calculated act. And until Decker is caught, justice remains unfinished.
