Elon Musk celebrated New Year's Eve with Donald Trump at a star-studded Mar-a-Lago party
Elon Musk celebrated New Year’s Eve at President-elect Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, dancing with his son near Trump during the star-studded event. The Tesla CEO has reportedly been staying in a $2,000-a-night cottage on the property since Election Day.
The gala featured high-profile attendees, including Vice President-elect JD Vance, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Musk’s mother, Maye Musk. Boxing promoter Don King and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis were also present, alongside Lara Trump, who performed a rendition of “I Won’t Back Down.”
Trump addressed reporters briefly, expressing optimism about 2025 and pledging to “bring the country back.” He also confirmed plans to attend the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away last week at the age of 100.
Guests enjoyed a fireworks display and live performances as the party marked the beginning of 2025. The celebration highlighted the close ties between Trump and Musk as they step into a pivotal year in politics and business.
