Ten Commandments Ark Hidden Until Prophecy Fulfilled

A forbidden prophecy might explain when the Ark of the Covenant, believed to contain the original Ten Commandments, will be found. The clue lies in the Apocalypse of Baruch, a book excluded from the official Bible.

Prophecy Describes Ark’s Secret Burial

According to Chapter 6 of the Apocalypse of Baruch, an angel removed the Ark and other sacred objects from the Temple before the Babylonian invasion. The angel then commanded the Earth to swallow them until Israel’s restoration.

The book presents Baruch, the prophet Jeremiah’s scribe, witnessing this divine act. Carried by a powerful spirit, he saw angels protecting Jerusalem while one placed the Ten Commandments and the Ark deep within the Earth. The angel declared they would only reappear when God commanded their return.

CIA Sparks Renewed Interest

The prophecy returned to the spotlight after reports suggested the CIA might know the Ark’s current location. Though the agency hasn’t confirmed this, the potential connection between the Ten Commandments and the Ark keeps interest alive.

Scholars Still Question The Ark’s Existence

Historians note that no solid proof confirms the Ark ever existed. Some believe it was housed in the Holy of Holies at Jerusalem’s Temple before vanishing during the 586 BC Babylonian siege. No one alive has seen the Ark, and ancient tradition says only a high priest could view it once per year.

A popular tale in Ethiopia claims Menelik, son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, smuggled the Ark to Aksum. Locals believe it still rests in the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion. However, experts who viewed the object there say it appears to be a replica, not the true Ark of the Covenant.

Ten Commandments May Mark Israel’s Restoration

The prophecy links the return of the Ark to Israel’s complete restoration. In biblical context, this could mean a future kingdom or spiritual awakening. Until then, the Earth is believed to guard the Ark and the Ten Commandments, hidden from human hands.
