The Legal Drama Unfolds

In a shocking turn of events, pop superstar Taylor Swift officially subpoenaed as a witness in the ongoing legal battle between actress Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni. The dispute centers around allegations of sexual harassment and unprofessional conduct during the production of the film โ€˜It Ends With Us.โ€™

Swiftโ€™s involvement in the film limited to licensing her song โ€œMy Tears Ricochetโ€ for the soundtrack. Her spokesperson emphasized that she had no creative role in the movie and accused the subpoena a publicity stunt designed to draw attention by leveraging her celebrity status.

The Allegations and Counterclaims

Blake Lively filed a lawsuit in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. She also alleged that Baldoni and his team conducted a smear campaign to discredit her. In response, Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit in January 2025, accusing Lively of defamation and extortion. He claimed that Lively, along with her husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, attempted to tarnish his reputation.
