Swift-Kelce split speculation: What’s the truth behind their supposed breakup contract?

Despite a fake contract circulating online that suggests Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is staged, their romance appears to be anything but fabricated. The false documents, titled “Comprehensive Media Plan For Travis Kelce’s Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift,” were shared across social media, causing speculation earlier this month.

The paperwork, which included the logo for Kelce’s PR firm, Full Scope, claimed to detail how the couple would manage their breakup publicly. However, Kelce’s team was quick to dismiss the rumors, stating, “These documents are entirely false and fabricated… We have engaged our legal team to take action against those responsible for this unlawful forgery.”

Swift and Kelce have been linked since the summer of 2023, with Swift attending Kelce’s games and the pair enjoying their relationship largely out of the public eye. Despite the false rumors, the couple continues to thrive, with Swift dropping subtle hints about their romance in her music, including a track believed to be inspired by Kelce. Fans have largely dismissed the fake contract, seeing it as an attempt to stir controversy where none exists.

The couple continues to spend time together, and Swift is expected to support Kelce during his NFL season, while her Eras Tour resumes in October.
