Swedish soccer coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, the first foreigner to manage England, passes away at the age of 76

Sven-Goran Eriksson, the renowned Swedish football manager who notably served as England’s first non-British coach for five years, has passed away at the age of 76. Reports indicate that he died in the company of his family, as confirmed in a statement released on his official website. This unfortunate event comes after Eriksson publicly disclosed eight months ago that he had been battling pancreatic cancer and was given a prognosis of a year or less to live.
