Shooting in Sacramento midtown: 1 person killed, 1 hurt

A man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Sacramento’s midtown area, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The double shooting was reported around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday in the 1500 block of 20th Street, near O Street. Officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound at the scene. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Another man involved in the shooting reportedly transported himself to a hospital and is in stable condition.

Police have not arrested the shooter or shooters, but are asking witnesses to come forward with information.
