She underwent a successful minimally-invasive outpatient procedure to have it removed, and as a precautionary measure, she will undergo a few days of radiation treatment this month. The senator relayed her doctor’s confirmation that she is currently cancer-free and emphasized the importance of regular screenings, exams, and follow-ups.
Encouraging others to prioritize their health, Klobuchar underscored the significance of not taking health for granted and urged individuals to seize the gift of each day. Elected in 2006, she is now seeking reelection for a fourth term.
