Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces new revelations as Anna Kane, ex-wife of NHL star, publicly identifies as accuser

Anna Kane, the ex-wife of Edmonton Oilers player Evander Kane, has revealed herself as one of the earliest sexual assault accusers against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Allegations of assault during teenage years

Kane, now 31, alleges she was sexually assaulted by Combs, his longtime associate Harve Pierre, and another individual at the Bad Boy Entertainment studio in New York City when she was just 17. Initially filing her lawsuit anonymously in December 2023 under the name Jane Doe, Kane was ordered by a court to amend the suit to include her real name.

Kane’s complaint details a harrowing sequence of events, beginning with a meeting at a Detroit nightclub and culminating in alleged drugging and sexual assault at Combs’ recording studio.

Kane speaks out against intimidation

In a statement through her attorney, Douglas Wigdor, Kane said the decision to reveal her identity was not taken lightly, citing efforts by Combs’ legal team to intimidate accusers into stepping forward. “Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated,” Kane said.

Combs denies allegations

Combs, now 54, has denied all allegations, calling them “sickening” and accusing his accusers of seeking a “quick payday.” He vowed to fight to protect his name and legacy, claiming, “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”

Legal ramifications and ongoing charges

Kane’s lawsuit seeks damages under New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which allows victims to file older claims beyond the statute of limitations. The suit includes photos purportedly showing a teenage Kane at Combs’ studio, including one of her sitting on his lap.

Combs is currently facing broader charges of sex trafficking and racketeering and remains detained in a federal prison in Brooklyn after being denied bail.
