Prepare for a nefarious Halloween with Gru and the minions in “Despicable Me 4”

Get ready for a villainous Halloween as Despicable Me 4 arrives exclusively on Peacock starting October 31. The newest installment of Illumination’s massively successful animated franchise features an all-star voice cast including Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Pierre Coffin, Joey King, Miranda Cosgrove, Stephen Colbert, Sofía Vergara, Dana Gaier, and Will Ferrell.

In Despicable Me 4, Gru returns alongside Lucy, their daughters, and a new family member — Gru Jr. — who is determined to drive his dad crazy. A fresh nemesis emerges, forcing the entire family to go on the run. The film is full of the franchise’s signature subversive humor and introduces a mischievous team known as the Mega Minions.

Directed by Chris Renaud, co-directed by Patrick Delage, and written by Mike White and Ken Daurio, Despicable Me 4 features original music by Pharrell Williams. Since its release in theaters on July 3, 2024, the film has grossed $954 million worldwide, contributing to the Despicable Me and Minions franchise’s status as the first animated series to exceed $5 billion at the global box office.

Fans can also enjoy the first three Despicable Me films streaming exclusively on Peacock, perfect for a marathon of Minion-filled fun this Halloween season.
