Police report three fatalities from a shooting at a vehicle registration office in Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Authorities have reported that three individuals lost their lives during a shooting incident at a vehicle registration office in Louisville on Friday.

Officials from the Louisville Metro Police Department, led by Major Donald Boeckman, informed the press that responding officers discovered one individual deceased at the site of the shooting. Tragically, two other victims were also found wounded; they were subsequently transported to nearby medical facilities where they succumbed to their injuries.

Major Boeckman reassured the community, stating that there is no continuing threat to public safety following the incident, suggesting that the situation is contained.

The police are likely continuing their investigation to uncover details surrounding the motive and circumstances of the shooting, but have not released additional information at this time.
