The debut event for Real American Freestyle wrestling is set to take the stage at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, with the venue boasting a capacity of 13,000 seats. The event is scheduled for August 30, as announced by the commissioner, the iconic Hulk Hogan.
Hulk Hogan expressed his enthusiasm about the choice of location, highlighting Cleveland’s vibrant atmosphere. “Cleveland is an incredible city, and Real American Freestyle is channeling its rock and roll style into this first event,” he stated.
The initial matches for this much-anticipated debut were revealed on Wednesday. Highlighting the women’s division will be a matchup between American Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hildebrandt and Mexico’s Zeltzin Hernandez Guerra. Another exciting bout features American Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blades taking on Mexico’s Alejandra Rivera Arriaga.
In the men’s division, anticipation builds with the announcement of matches such as Real Woods facing Darrion Caldwell and Austin Gomez battling it out with Lance Palmer.
The event will include a total of eight men’s matches and four women’s matches, showcasing a diverse lineup of talent. Notably, several major athletes have joined the promotion, including American Olympic medalists Kyle Snyder, Kyle Dake, Aaron Brooks, and NCAA heavyweight champion Wyatt Hendrickson.
